Pilbara for Purpose is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of P4P members, who are elected at the Annual General Meeting.
P4P currently has a group of committed and experienced Directors on the P4P Board who are passionate about the Pilbara and our sector. This Board will guide our organisation as we strive to become a peak body that is trusted and respected, promotes innovation and collaboration and represents the vibrancy and resilience of the For Purpose sector in the Pilbara.
James Jarvis is CEO of the Nintirri Centre based in Tom Price. James has over 20 years work experience in the community development and social services sector in Western Australia and the Northern Territory, as well as being a prominent volunteer with the Local Government Manager’s Association and a Director on the Board of Country Arts WA. James’ core skills lie in strategic stakeholder engagement and strategic planning, while his leadership skills and his ability to inspire the people he works with, will result in an organisation that is connected to the community and capable of delivering quality services. His experience in both front line and managerial roles, as well as a strong focus on creating positive change, will ensure a shared vision and shared action between member organisations.
