The Department of Communities has recently released the new At-Risk Youth Strategy 2022-2027, which provides a foundation to guide work to support young people with complex and multiple problems who are most at risk of requiring intervention and aims to work with these young people, their families, and communities to improve their futures.

Nominations extended for Hedland Youth Awards 2022
There is still time to nominate a young person in the Hedland community aged 5-25 who demonstrates sporting talents, is achieving great things, contributing to their community or showing leadership skills.
The closing date for nominations has been extended to Weds 6th April 2022.
All teachers, parents, youth workers, sports coaches and community memnbers are encouraged to take a moment to share the great things young people are doing out in our community.

Nominate an amazing young person for Youth Week WA!
Now is the time to make sure young people get acknowledged for the great things that they do.
The Youth Award categories cover sports, achievement and leadership over three age groups. All teachers, parents, youth workers, sports coaches and any community member are encouraged to take a moment to share the great things young people are doing out in our community.
Nominations are due 30th March 2022 by Survey Monkey or the attached form can be completed and emailed to ceo@yic.com.au
The Youth Awards Presentation will be held on Friday 8th April at YIC HQ.
